How many of you have bobbed your head to this song and smiled as you sung along?? In 2001 I had no clue how true these words would play out in my life 14 years later! On June 4th,2018 Foundation 29 joined forces with BB&T and Cape Fear Valley to honor, celebrate and praise the survivors. Volunteering and hugging the amazing survivors made me forget for a slight moment that I too am a survivor. Foundation 29 passed out over 100 book bags packed by BB&T filled with journals, non scented lotions, hard candies, crossword puzzles and blankets. We along with several other vendors came out to show our appreciation and love for not only the patients but the care givers too. Friends and family of Foundation 29 came out in droves to show support. Please take time to view the awesome photos taken on June 4th and if you are a survivor or care giver feel free to hum the lyrics to Destiny's child survivor.
